Two interesting stories from Burma in which the main characters are know for their ‘furriness‘.
After having disappeared in 1948, Burmese cats are being bred again at the Princess resort on Inle lake. „Burmese cats are known to have existed for more than a thousand years. The Burmese royal families kept them as pets and others were revered as temple cats and even oracles”
Paul Gregoire shares an intriguing story on how Burmese punkers every Monday evening distribute food to people living on the streets of Rangoon. They do this as part of the ‘Food not Bombs’ movement.
